This is an opportunity to play a key role in the Business Development team at one of the largest main contractors in Kent. You will be involved in all aspects of the company’s activities with a focus on new business, marketing, events and social value delivery.
The responsibilities, scope and seniority of this role will be dependent on the successful candidate’s suitability, skills and experience.
Your main priorities will include supporting bid submissions, coordinating marketing activities, organising company events and assisting with the delivery of the company’s social value programme.
Reporting to the Senior Management Team.
· Producing high-quality written bid proposal documents, including Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and tender quality submissions, working closely with the Pre-Construction team.
· Coordinating and formatting tender documentation, including document control, layout structure and final submission preparation.
· Undertaking creative design work to enhance the quality, consistency and corporate branding of marketing materials and bid submissions.
· Creating and maintaining marketing materials, including brochures, project information sheets, website content and photography.
· Developing and updating website content and supporting regular social and digital marketing activity.
· Planning, organising and coordinating company events, including an annual charity golf day and similar initiatives, covering event programmes, guest lists, invitations and logistics.
· Supporting local sponsorship partnerships and wider community engagement activities.
· Liaising with teams across the business to gather project, operational and company information to support marketing outputs and bid submissions.
· Using tender and planning portals to identify new business opportunities
· Managing the coordination and delivery of the company’s social value programme.
· Liaising with local schools, colleges and education providers to support partnership activities.
· Assisting with the organisation and delivery of:
o School and college engagement workshops
o Construction careers talks and industry awareness sessions
o Site tours and work-experience visits
o Careers fairs and employer engagement events
· Assisting with the recording and reporting of social value activities for tender and client requirements.
· Excellent IT skills – competent in Microsoft Office and presentation software including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
· Positive attitude to working as part of a team.
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Confident managing concurrent projects.
· Strong administration skills with excellent organisation and communication abilities.
· Ability to use initiative to manage marketing activities and priorities.
· Confident and motivated individual able to represent the company at events.
· Full UK driving licence and access to an appropriately insured vehicle.
· University degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
· Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Job Title: Project Coordinator – Hospital / Healthcare Works

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our established Special Projects team, supporting the delivery of hospital and healthcare construction works across NHS Trust sites in Kent.
Our business has a longstanding working relationships with NHS Trusts across the county, delivering construction projects within live clinical environments. This role plays an important part in maintaining those relationships by ensuring effective coordination, clear communication and alignment with hospital operational requirements.
Working alongside our existing team of highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisors and delivery teams, you will act as the key day-to-day point of contact for NHS estates representatives, supporting planning, communication and programme coordination within active hospital settings, ensuring our established site teams are supported through clear communication and forward planning.
This is a collaborative role focused on coordination and stakeholder engagement, enabling safe, efficient and well-managed project delivery within sensitive healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day liaison with NHS Trust estates teams and key hospital stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage programme activities and upcoming works in collaboration with delivery teams.
- Support forward planning to ensure construction activities are aligned with clinical operations and access constraints.
- Facilitate clear communication between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and the client.
- Assist in monitoring progress, identifying potential issues early and helping to coordinate practical, workable solutions.
- Attend site and client meetings as required to support accurate reporting and effective communication.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with company procedures, industry best practice and statutory requirements.
- Promote and support high standards of Health & Safety and quality across all project activities.
- Maintain accurate project records and coordination documentation.
- Site Supervisors retain responsibility for on-site supervision, safety management and day-to-day construction delivery, with the Project Coordinator supporting effective planning, coordination and client communication.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Experience within the construction industry.
- Experience supporting or coordinating project delivery on site-based works.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence liaising with clients and operational stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience working within live healthcare or similarly sensitive operational environments.
- Understanding of construction programming (Asta Powerproject or similar).
- HNC (or equivalent) in Construction or a related discipline.
- SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS card.
