Project Progress - Costa Coffee Drive Thru
Progress to deliver a new stand-alone Costa Coffee Drive Thru in Minster off the busy A299 are going well with the hope of bringing forward the installation of the steel frame to early January therefore reducing the overall project programme.
The installation of kerbing and a new bell mouth entrance to the site has been completed, with groundworks now underway for service and foundation installations. We have liaised with the local Highways Agency and the surrounding businesses and residents, to ensure our works cause as little disruption to the surrounding road network as possible with the implementation of Traffic Management and delivery plans.
Our sister Company WWM Civils are currently on site completing excavations to accommodate the new drainage and water mains ready for the new the attenuation tank with the completion of the concrete pads and foundations to follow.
Although the design follows the standard Costa model, certain elements have been amended to ensure the building fits in with its surroundings with materials chosen to integrate the building into the rural location whilst maintaining the Costa Drive thru image.
The new development will generate tangible benefits such as enhancing the services already on offer, supporting the vitality and function of the wider site and generating jobs for the local and wider area.
