Success of the Yarrow Hotel celebrated at the KEiBA Awards 2017

Following our work with East Kent College, we are very proud that the Yarrow Hotel project was recognised in the Construction Project of the Year category at KEiBA (Kent Excellence in Business Awards) 2017.

The awards which are in their 9th year are staged and produced by KM Media Group and Kent County Council to recognise and reward excellence in businesses from across Kent and Medway.

This year was the first year the new construction category was included in the awards as we joined over 600 people at the special gala dinner held on Thursday 22nd June at the Kent Event Centre in Detling, Maidstone to celebrate.

Our congratulations goes to all of the finalists and winners on the night.

About the Yarrow Hotel

Originally built in 1895 by Sir Alfred Yarrow, The Yarrow is a large Jacobethan-style building with a long and illustrious history. The building started life as a children’s convalescent home, before falling into disrepair as a disused part of the East Kent College (EKC) estate.

Working in partnership with EKC, we sensitively undertook the building regeneration works to the Grade II English Heritage Listed building, providing a new operational four-star training hotel, offering a unique learning and employment opportunity for East Kent College.
