Age UK opens in Herne Bay

On the 27th of November we were delighted to attend the official opening of the new Age UK Herne Bay project we completed earlier this year.

Television presenter Nicky Chapman, who grew up in Herne Bay, was in attendance to cut the ribbon and officially open the excellent new facilities.

Designed by Canterbury based Architects Clague, the new two-story building provides additional day care facilities, an enlarged communal area, and office space for local charities to rent.

Of the event, Mike Darling, WW Martin said “It was great to attend the opening of the new Age UK building. Seeing the facilities being used and enjoyed by so many is a real pleasure.”
