Celebrating Apprenticeship Excellence in East Kent
We were delighted to once again attend the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards (EKAA) 2025, held last night at the Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs in partnership with East Kent Colleges Group.
These awards champion the outstanding contributions made by apprentices and the organisations and individuals who support them across our region. As ever, it was an inspiring evening, recognising the dedication, talent, and ambition of so many who are helping to shape the future of their industries.
We were very proud that our carpentry apprentice, Maison Ioannou-Jehle, was Highly Commended in the Construction Apprentice of the Year category.
Maison recently successfully completed his apprenticeship through our own Employment, Apprenticeship and Training Programme (EATP), working on many of our local schemes and projects. Now a fully-fledged and valued member of our team, we are so pleased to see his hard work and commitment recognised with this achievement.
He was accompanied to the awards by Paul Ruddock, Head of Special Projects and Courtney Hewett, Special Projects Co-ordinator, who have supported Maison throughout his apprenticeship course.
As a business with a long-standing commitment to apprenticeships, we remain passionate about investing in the next generation of skilled professionals and are proud to play our part in supporting their journey.
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees, finalists, and winners.
