Cherry Orchard Primary School nearing completion

Work on site to the Cherry Orchard Primary School, the new two-form entry school being delivered at the Ebbsfleet Garden City site is nearing completion.

With the school set to open in early September, our works on site are progressing well.

Internally, the finishing touches are being made to the administrative areas and the classrooms. Current works on site which are scheduled to complete in the coming weeks include:

• The completion of final floor finishes
• Final decorative works, and
• Other minor internal works, such as the fixing of light switches, light pendants, sockets and similar.

In addition, the external works are also nearing completion. We are beginning to remove our site offices and welfare facilities as we prepare to carry out the surfacing works to the new school playgrounds. Paving work is also well underway to all external pathways.
