Christmas Tree Recycling for Pilgrims Hospices
We are proud to once again support Pilgrims Hospices through their annual Christmas Tree Recycling campaign, which this year raised an incredible £84,335 thanks to the combined efforts of the local community, volunteers and supporting organisations.
Our WW Martin volunteers spent the day travelling around Thanet, collecting Christmas trees from residents in exchange for a donation, helping to raise vital funds for specialist end-of-life care within the community.
All collected trees were recycled in an environmentally friendly way, with materials reused as agricultural compost or chips for local animal rescue centres.
We are pleased to continue our ongoing support for Pilgrims Hospices and to be involved in an initiative that provides meaningful funds to a local charity.
