Closing out National Apprenticeship Week 2026

Great to be back working with MidKent College as part of National Apprenticeship Week.

We were delighted to work with the Maidstone and Medway campuses, closing out a busy week engaging with the next generation of construction professionals.

As part of our commitment to strong industry and education partnerships, and with work placements often limited, our employer led projects provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience. In collaboration with MidKent College, we have devised an employer led project for carpentry students, which will continue beyond National Apprenticeship Week as part of their curriculum.

The project focuses on constructing wildlife habitats, supporting sustainability objectives and planning requirements, while giving students practical, industry relevant experience.

We also used our time with the college to deliver discussions centred on our Work Ready Programme with bricklaying, multi skilled construction and carpentry students at both campuses, sharing key career and job skills to support their future employment.
