Contract Award - Chantry Community Academy

Chantry Community Academy is currently a 2-form entry Primary School, located to the northern edge of Gravesend town centre, approximately 300m to the south of the Thames Estuary.

Due to the age (dates back to 1930) and design of the existing school building it has been deemed that it is no longer able to meet with the standards required for a modern teaching facility.

As such, we are very pleased to have been appointed this month by the ESFA to deliver the Design & Build works to deliver a new modern school to facilitate the provision of education in accordance with the school’s needs relating to curriculum, to accommodate the increase in pupil numbers, and to provide space for use by the wider community.

Working with OSG Architects, the design of the new school will see the new school accomodate 420 primary pupils, increasing the schools current capacity from 1FE to 2FE with provision for 26 nursery places.
