Contract Award - Javelin Way, Ashford
Following an extensive competitive tender process with Kent County Council, we are extremely pleased to announce that we have secured a new multi-million-pound contract, Javelin Way, Ashford.
This large new project will see the site at Javelin Way in Ashford developed for employment use, with a focus on the development of Ashford’s creative economy.
With works due to start on site in early 2021, the project will deliver two distinctive elements (the accompanying image on the left shows the proposed site plan):
Creative Laboratory
A production space consisting of a 2-storey building to be leased from Kent County Council by the Jasmin Vardimon Company (JVC), a major dance and creative organisation.
29 Light Industrial Units
New industrial units that will be available for sale and/or lease, suitable for additional creative businesses and the general market.
As a main Kent contractor, we are very much looking forward to commencing on site, working closely with Kent County Council, as well as project partners Arts Council England and Ashford Borough Council to deliver this exciting new project.
More details will follow on our website as the project progresses on site.
