​Contract Award: Oscar Acoustics Headquarters, Rochester

We are delighted to have secured the contract to build architectural acoustic experts Oscar Acoustics new state-of-the-art headquarters building in Rochester. Work has recently commenced on site to provide this high-quality working environment for Oscar Acoustic’s staff, enabling the company to move forward on it’s next phase of growth and investment in Kent.

Designed by Urban & Rural Architects, the structure will feature two buildings – the first is designated as the main office building, featuring an open plan workspace, meeting rooms and a welcome lounge. It will also serve as a showroom for potential customers to view the company’s products in a finished environment.

The second building includes six two-storey units which will be occupied by the acoustic solution specialist’s innovation facility, international sales hub and further warehousing for the company’s products.

The buildings will be situated on a disused parcel of land in the Medway Valley, giving a new and useful lease of life to a previously redundant site. A focus on environmentally friendly materials and methods of construction, and biodiversity for the surrounding landscaped area will create a fitting headquarters for this innovative, design-led company.
