Contract Award - South Borough Primary School

As an approved Framework Agreement Contractor for Kent County Council (KCC), WW Martin will soon begin work on site at the South Borough School in Maidstone, to expand the facility from a 1FE to 2FE (Forms of Entry) primary school. When complete the two-storey extension will provide 6 new classrooms, additional circulation space, break out areas, toilet facilities and a new plant room.

The proposed extension will help accommodate the population growth within the local catchment area, as well as the increasing number of pupils travelling to the school from further afield. With a planned completion date of Summer 2017, South Borough Primary School will increase its capacity from 210 to 420 pupils, ready for the new September term.
