Contract Award - Peters Village, Wouldham

We are very pleased to announce that we have secured a new contract to deliver retail and community space on the site of Peters Village, a new development which lies on the River Medway near Wouldham.

Successfully appointed this month by developer Trenport, we will start work on site in January 2021 to construct a new Co-op Food Store, 3 Retail Units and a Community Hall.

The new Co-op foodstore, which is desiged to provide a focal point to the retail offer, will run on 100% renewable energy, enhancing the Peters Village commitment to a sustainable transport plan, nurturing of rare wildlife and the local Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

The scheme which has been well thought out has also benefitted from local input. This is specifically true for the Community Hall, as this is 25% larger than initially proposed and also now includes changing rooms for the playing fields next door which have already been updated following local input into the consultation process.

We very much look forward to starting this work, all of which forms part of several planned developments to the new Village centre designed by On Architecture for our client Trenport Investments Limited.
