Contract Award - Thanet District Council Affordable Homes Programme, Phase 4
We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as Thanet District Council’s construction partner to deliver Phase 4 of their new-build Affordable Homes programme, providing a total of 49 new homes to local families in Thanet.
With construction works scheduled to start on site in September, the scheme will provide a mixture of houses and apartments spread across four sites.
The contract represents our most recent in partnership with Thanet District Council. Notably, it follows our previous appointment and role as construction partner on Phases 1 and 3 of the Affordable Housing Programme.
As a local business, we are extremely proud to be appointed and we very much look forward to working with all project and client team partners, including Modus Construction Consultants, Considine Engineers, and HMY Architects.
As part of this contract, we will also actively look at ways to create and provide opportunities to engage with and support the local community and will provide further details in due course.
Clements Road, Ramsgate - Nine self-contained flats, comprising four 1-bedroom and five 2-bedroom homes.
Staner Court, Ramsgate – Nine 3-bedroom and two 4-bedroom houses.
Tomlin Drive, Margate - 12 new-build houses including eight 3-bedroom semi-detached dwellings and four 4-bed terraced dwellings.
Dane Valley Arms, Margate – 17 new homes including a new four-storey building accommodating seven 1-bedroom and six 2-bedroom self-contained flats, together with four 3-bedroom semi-detached houses.
