Contract Award - The Ames Building, Folkestone College

We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to deliver the complete refurbishment of the Ames building at Folkestone College.

Working collaboratively with the project team, Lee Evans Architects, Hawden and MLM, the design for the complete renovation of the Ames building has been carefully considered to ensure Folkestone College’s expectations and requirements are met.

The works will comprise of the complete re-modelling of the building’s current layout, repairs to the external façade, the installation of powder-coated aluminium windows, new flooring, installation of a modern commercial grade kitchen, new lighting throughout and a complete reconfiguration of all the existing mechanical and electrical facilities.

The renovation works when complete will provide Folkestone College with a modern, user friendly office space located over the current 3-storey building and a contemporary restaurant/ breakout area, delivering a fresh, modern and practical working environment for the College.
