Contract Award - The Great Hall, Canterbury

Following a competitive tender process, we are very pleased to announce that we have secured the contract to deliver the Great Hall, for Kent College Canterbury.

The Great Hall is a new performing arts building consisting of an auditorium with retractable seating for the capacity of 300 in theatre mode and 600 in assembly mode. The new building will also include all of the other associated facilities including dressing rooms, toilets and performance studios.

It will be used as a versatile and practical space for the school’s highly regarded drama and music departments as well as for the wider local community.

The building itself will feature a low-energy passive labyrinth heating and ventilation system, photo-voltaic cells and will be built to comply to the highest level of sustainability standards.
