Contract Award – The Marlborough Centre, Medway

We are delighted to have been successfully awarded the contract to deliver a single storey extension to the front of the Marlborough Centre at St Werburgh Primary School on behalf of the client Rivermead Inclusive Trust. The Centre, which is located in Hoo, provides a specialist education facility for 65 children with complex needs on the autistic spectrum.

The exciting new extension, designed by Architects, Kent Design Studio, will provide extra space for new classrooms, offices and parking.The extension allows access into all areas of the existing building and extensive consideration has been given to provide natural light into all learning facilities and meeting areas to create a bright, open space to encourage learning.

The extension has been also been designed to incorporate a variety of materials such as brick and profiled metal cladding to give the building a fresh modern look, whilst still in keeping with the current school style and surrounding buildings.
