Contract Award - Wadhurst Place, East Sussex

We are delighted to have been selected as the main contractor for the delivery of a new and exclusive private gated residential development in Wadhurst, East Sussex.

With previous phases of the development complete, including the redevelopment of the Grade II listed house and stable block at the site known as Wadhurst College, this phase of the works, Phase 5, otherwise known as Wadhurst Place is now underway on site.

Working closely with our client Newcourt Residential, we are working on site to construct 28 luxurious detached and semi-detached family homes, comprising of a mix of 3, 4- and 5-bedroom homes with associated parking and landscaping set in acres of parkland with spectacular views across The Weald.

All of the homes have been traditionally and sensitively designed to be in keeping with the character of the listed buildings and the local area to create Sussex farmhouse style properties.These properties will all blend in seamlessly with the natural local surroundings, reflecting the beauty of the Sussex style heritage and will offer high quality bespoke interiors.

Working closely with OFP Timber Frame Systems to construct the homes, the layout of the development will see us deliver the new homes across the site so as to best utilise the significant slope that currently exists on the site.As such, the overall development will slope gently from the road towards a beautiful woodland, helping to retain a rural feel whilst offering lovely views across the wider landscaped site, ultimately delivering luxurious and highly sought after new homes.
