EKHUFT Corporate Social Responsibility Week
As part of East Kent Hospitals’ Corporate Social Responsibility Week, our WW Martin Volunteer Team were proud to lend a hand improving outdoor spaces at QEQM Hospital, Margate.
Over the course of the day, our team worked hard to tidy both the Nightingales and helipad areas, and clear and improve the overgrown public footpath running through the site. We carried out a large-scale litter pick, collecting several bags of rubbish from the car parks at the Ramsgate Road entrance.
The work formed part of a wider volunteering initiative organised by the hospitals, with other organisations supporting projects at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital and the William Harvey Hospital.
Thank you to 2gether Support Solutions for supplying tools and refreshments to our team, enabling and supporting our efforts to make the hospital environment more welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
We look forward to continuing our support and helping to prepare the gardens for winter later this year.
