Helping to support and promote construction apprenticeships at the Thanet Apprenticeship Fair
Our team had a very enjoyable day at the Thanet Apprenticeship Fair, held at King Ethelbert’s School in Birchington, which coincided with National Apprenticeship Week. The event was extremely well attended, with young people from several Thanet schools exploring the wide range of career opportunities available to them.
As a prominent local business and with four construction sites currently underway in Thanet as part of our work for Thanet District Council to deliver new affordable homes in Margate and Ramsgate, this was a great opportunity for us to engage with local students.
With our stand highlighting the various Apprenticeships available within WW Martin as part of our Employment Apprenticeship Training Programme (EATP), we had a busy day. We were particularly pleased to see so many students interested in construction and were equally pleased to take the time to answer their questions and showcase the many different careers available in our industry.
Thank you to The Education People, organisers of the Thanet Apprenticeship Fair, for putting together such a successful event and allowing us to help support young people take their first steps towards their future careers.
