Kent Cricket unveil their new Royal London One-Day Cup shirt - Sponsored by WW Martin Ltd
With one month to go until the new Kent Cricket season gets underway, we would like to announce the launch of the Royal London One-Day Cup shirt sponsored by WW Martin Ltd:
Kent will wear a new name on a distinctive new Samurai Sportswear shirt in the Royal London One-Day Cup this season.
The new shirt, sponsored by WW Martin, will be first worn by Kent Spitfires in the opening 50-over fixture against Hampshire on Thursday 27 April at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury.
Kent Cricket Retail manager Barrie Dyer said: “It’s definitely the brightest 50-over shirt we’ve ever produced.
“There are some lovely design touches this year with the luminous trim and Spitfires which change sides for left and right handers.”
The shirt is the first to bear the logo of new One-Day Cup major sponsors WW Martin. The Kent-based construction company is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year and is delighted with the design.
Neil Peck, WW Martin, Director said: “We cannot wait to see the Kent players wearing the shirts on the pitch".
“We are proud to support Kent Cricket and we hope the Spitfires can make it all the way to Lord’s this year.”
