Multi-faith Quiet Room at Kent Cricket officially opened
On the opening day of the 2024 county cricket season, local community and faith leaders joined club officials and Rehman Chishti, MP for Gillingham and Rainham, to formally open Kent Cricket's new Multi-Faith Quiet Room.
Designed by Lee Evans Partnership and constructed by our Special Projects team, the new facility is located within a previously underused area within the Ames Levett Indoor Sports Centre.
The project was funded by a grant from the England and Wales Cricket Board, and provides a calm space for personal worship, reflection and contemplation for the use of players, staff, Members and supporters.
