Contract Award - Maidstone Stroke Unit
We are delighted to have won the contract to carry out alterations and refurbishment works to the existing Stroke Unit at Maidstone Hospital to provide an extended bed facility with associated upgraded support spaces.
Phase 1 works include the construction of new rooms and the refurbishment and upgrade of existing facilities. These will form part of the Stroke Unit for the main hospital, and will include an enlarged acute assessment bay and associated support spaces, as well as inpatient and day patient ward areas, assessment areas, clinic / consultant rooms and support spaces.
These complex works are to be carried out in a ‘live’ hospital environment, with a busy corridor used by staff and patients
running through the middle of the works area.
This project for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is the latest to add to our extensive NHS and healthcare portfolio, with other significant projects either on site or recently completed at QEQM Hospital Margate, Kent & Canterbury Hospital, and William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
