Project Award - Maplesden Noakes School

We are very pleased to announce that we have been appointed by Kent County Council as the main contractor to deliver the construction works at Maplesden Noakes School, Maidstone.

Maplesden Noakes School is a co-educational school for students aged 11-18 and is situated on the western side of Maidstone, Kent. The School specialises in Business and Enterprise and Applied Learning.

Our appointment to the project managed by Gen2, will see significant works at the school undertaken to provide additional teaching facilities in order to increase capacity by 180 student places.

A summary of the works which are scheduled to start this summer include a new 3 Storey Teaching Block to comprise of 4 number IT Suites, 9 number Classrooms, 1 LRC, Storage Areas, Pupil Toilets and staff areas.

In addition to these new teaching facilities, a number of areas within the existing school will be refurbished to create a science laboratory, food technology and general classrooms. Finally, when all works are complete the school will also benefit from a number of additional parking and cycle sheds provided as part of a number of planned improvements to external space.
