Project Completion - Maidstone Stroke Unit

We are delighted to have successfully handed over our extensive works at Maidstone Hospital for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, completing a major multi-phase refurbishment of the existing Stroke Unit to provide extensive additional bed facilities and upgraded support spaces.

These extensive works significantly enlarged and upgraded the acute assessment bed bay areas and associated support spaces within the Stroke Unit. All works were delivered within a live and busy hospital site, including the installation and provision of new medical gas supplies, a nurse call system, and high-tech air handling units.

Other major improvements were made to the inpatient and day patient ward areas, assessment areas, clinic / consultant rooms and support spaces, including upgrades to administration offices and staff areas, a respiratory patient treatment room, and a new physiotherapy gym.

The final phase of works saw the refurbishment of the central area, various ancillary spaces and all remaining treatment rooms of the Stroke Unit.
