Project Progress - Megger Instruments Phase 1b
Works for the construction of a new factory/ warehouse extension at the site in Dover are progressing well. All windows installations and cladding have been completed, air conditioning units have and pipe work have been installed as well as plasterboard and window boards installed ready for plastering.
Future works will include the laying of the concrete slab to new factory, with the steel frame and cladding to start in January.
The works are for the construction of a new factory/ warehouse extension and internal refurbishment of the existing warehouse and offices. We are currently on site for Phase one of the works which we were awarded at the being of 2019 for the construction of a 2 storey manufacturing building, and the refurbishment of an existing building to provide a new test room. The expansion plans have been developed by our client Megger to meet growing worldwide demand for their products.
Megger, established in the 1800s designs and manufactures portable electrical test and measurement instruments that perform electrical measurements for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning. The site at Dover has been the location of Megger's headquarters since the 1960’s and currently employs 260 highly skilled staff in the design, development and manufacture of electrical testing equipment.
