Project Progress - Pickerings Plant

Works for the new steel framed building, based in Eurolink, Sittingbourne are progressing well. The final levels have been established to the front apron, car park and wash bay, which has allowed for the parking area to be kerbed and stoned and the concrete works to commence.

The perimeter fencing has now also been installed, just leaving the site entrance section and gates to be erected. Inside the building, all internal walling has been completed and an initial paint coatings have been done. The wash room areas have been tiled, with the vinyl floors being laid this week, ready for the installation of sanitaryware.

The new depot, an addition to Pickerings eleven sites situated throughout England will be used for the repair and manufacture of mobile and static accommodation. The building will provide a workshop, offices, mess, training area and paint shop and associated landscaping.
