Project Progress - RBLI
Despite the recent wet weather, the works to deliver 40 new homes for ex-service personnel and their families in Aylesford are progressing to programme.
Groundworks are now complete following the installation of the drainage to the new housing units and progress above ground is progressing well.
Over the last week, the scaffold to the exterior of blocks 1 - 12 and the ‘Assisted Living’ block 13 - 36 has been assembled, allowing for the internal masonry to be completed and the 2nd floor works to commence. Windposts have also been fully installed to provide lateral support to units as part of the structural detailing of the construction works.
With the structural walls and superstructure due to start next week to all blocks, the new building will be ready for the M&E first fix and screeding to the first-floor next month.
