Project Progress - St Lawrence College, Ramsgate

The works for a new four storey science, technology and art building at St Lawrence College are progressing well with the removal of the scaffolding to the rear and East Elevations.

The new contemporary designed building is taking shape, despite the heavy rainfall and freezing temperatures at the beginning of the year, making progress challenging, the team worked hard to achieve the major milestones in the project and are now on track to deliver the state of the art Science Block.

The building is split across four levels, with one storey below ground with the design providing a subtle connection to the existing older surrounding buildings, as well as a contrast, with the building featuring modern render panels and aluminium windows.

Key milestones to progress the works include the lift installation, furniture installation and the external link bridge.
