Project Progress – Teynham Parochial C of E Primary School
Great progress continues to be made on site at Teynham School, as shown by our latest set of aerial photos.
Important milestones have been reached with the concrete raft now complete and soakaway being installed.
Over the coming weeks, the main structure will begin to take shape, giving a real sense of the space the new school building will occupy.
The works, which are being delivered under the Kent County Council 'Property Construction Partnership Framework', will give Teynham School the capacity to double their pupil intake and expand from a one to two-form entry setting.
The new building will provide 12 general teaching classrooms, two reception classrooms, one practical space, one studio / Breakfast Club space, a learning resource centre, a large general purpose hall, SEN therapy and resource spaces, medical room, general admin space, WCs and associated circulation areas together with a separate nursery, MUGA, cycle spaces, landscaping, access and parking following demolition.
We look forward to continuing our progress and will post further updates on key developments soon.
