​Project Progress: Thanet District Council – Phase 4 Affordable Homes Programme

We are pleased to share the latest construction progress from our sites in Margate and Ramsgate, delivered on behalf of Thanet District Council.

Clements Road

All works are progressing well, with the on-site tenant stores and new front entrance canopy both due for completion shortly. Footpaths and roadways are being prepared with their base layer of tarmac.

Internally, works are continuing to schedule, with flats now fully boarded and mechanical, electrical, and carpentry works ongoing.

Tomlin Drive and Dane Valley Arms

Both sites are entering the later stages of construction and are looking excellent. As roofing works near completion across both sites, scaffolding is being taken down, transforming the appearance of the area and offering a clearer view of the completed buildings.

Externally, groundworks are ongoing in preparation for the final stages of landscaping and tarmacking. These works will define the external spaces, including footpaths, parking bays and garden areas, ready for the finishing touches in the coming weeks.

Staner Court

Excellent progress continues to be made on site. Key milestones are being achieved, with internal works progressing at pace. Externally, the private gardens are ready for their final landscaping, which will be completed shortly.

Works to external communal areas are also well underway, with new lamp posts being installed and other general improvements taking place across the site.

With all sites making excellent progress, we are proud to be working in partnership with Thanet District Council to deliver high-quality new affordable homes for the local community. We look forward to handing over the first of the new homes very soon.
