Project Progress - The Great Hall
Works are progressing well on site at Kent College, Canterbury, for the construction of a new performing arts building consisting of an auditorium with retractable seating for the capacity of 300 in theatre mode and 600 in assembly mode.
The project is being delivered on a challenging site in a ‘live’ school environment, where disruption must be kept to a minimum. Our team has worked hard to overcome this challenge through constant communication and liaison with the college.
The birds eye view from the 40m self erecting crane shows the groundworks are underway with the next major project milestone being the installation of the steel frame.
The Great Hall is to provide a facility for the whole school at Kent College Canterbury to gather as one community for a variety of purposes, such as assemblies, worship, drama and musical performances.
