​Project Progress: West Kingsdown Affordable Housing Development

We are pleased to share a further update on the construction of 13 new affordable homes at West Kingsdown, being delivered in partnership with English Rural Housing Association (ERHA).

Since the last update the site has seen significant progress. The latest photographs highlight how the development, which comprises a mix of single-storey and two-storey plots, is taking shape within its rural setting, with tiled roofs now completed on the majority of plots and solar PV panels installed on several of the homes. Scaffolding remains in place on a number of plots to allow the ongoing façade works to continue, and groundworks have advanced well across the site, preparing for the next phase of external works including landscaping to progress.

With all buildings at a water-tight stage, internal construction has been able to proceed. Interior trades are now the main focus, with first-fix services and other internal works continuing across the plots.
