​Project Update: Northfleet Technology College

Construction is progressing well at Northfleet Technology College in Gravesend, with the steel frame now in place for the new two-storey standalone expansion building.

This marks a significant milestone in the project, which we are delivering on behalf of Kent County Council to support the school’s one-form entry expansion.

The next stage will involve installing concrete slabs at first-floor and roof levels to form the building’s structural decks. Works will also include the installation of the Structural Framing System (SFS), associated membranes, curtain walling and windows, with roof coverings to follow shortly afterwards.

Once complete, the new facility will provide a modern dining hall with a grab-and-go servery, full catering facilities, and dedicated engineering workshops, creating enhanced spaces for both learning and student wellbeing.
