QEQM Hospital, Margate named Construction Project of the Year at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards
We are very proud to announce that the Emergency Department expansion and remodelling project at QEQM Hospital, Margate, was named Construction Project of the Year at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards last night.
The awards ceremony, held at the stunning Westernhanger Castle, brought together leading businesses and organisations from across the county to celebrate outstanding achievements in innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
This award recognises the exceptional effort and expertise invested in transforming QEQM Hospital’s Emergency Department into a state-of-the-art facility. The project has enhanced the hospital’s capacity and functionality, delivering a vital improvement to healthcare services in the community.
The success of this project was only made possible by the tireless efforts of our highly skilled team and the close collaboration with project partners, our client 2Gether Support Solutions and East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
From the outset, the QEQM Hospital expansion was a challenging and rewarding endeavour. The project required careful planning and execution to ensure the hospital’s services remained operational during construction, underscoring our team’s ability to work sensitively and safely in live environments.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce for this award, and congratulate all the other winners and finalists who are making an incredible impact across Kent.
This award highlights our commitment to delivering high quality projects that make a meaningful difference to the communities in which we work.
