Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy Progress
We are pleased to share progress at our Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy project in Dartford for Kent County Council.
Construction is progressing well, with the roof parapets now formed and roof coverings being installed. The external walls are taking shape, while internally, screeding is complete and work is underway on internal walls and mechanical services.
The next stage will see internal works continue, alongside mechanical and electrical installations. Externally, windows and curtain walling will be installed once the wall framing and boarding are complete, with brickwork following shortly afterwards.
The development will deliver a new standalone sixth form building, supporting the academy’s 2FE expansion and providing dedicated teaching and social spaces for sixth form students.
