Sod Turning Ceremony Marks Start of Construction at Mabledon Avenue
We were delighted to welcome the team from Ashford Borough Council, including Cllr Noel Ovenden, Leader of Ashford Borough Council, along with calfordseaden in their role as Employer’s Agent, to site at Mabledon Avenue recently to mark the project’s sod turning ceremony.
This milestone marks the start of construction on a development that will transform a redundant former industrial site into 20 high-quality, energy-efficient affordable homes for local residents.
Designed in-house by Ashford Borough Council’s Architectural team, the scheme will deliver EPC A-rated homes incorporating a range of sustainable features including ground source heat pumps, solar PV panels, EV charging points and high-performance building fabric.
