Staff support Foreland Fields School tree planting initiative

As part of our staff volunteering hours, we were delighted to support Foreland Fields School last week as they planted over 1000 trees, donated to the school by the Woodland Trust and Carbon Footprint Ltd.

Our staff attended alongside a team of volunteers from Genius Sport, horticulture students from Liberty College and Forelands Fields pupils to help plant the donated trees, which encircle the school’s new playing fields and inclusive facility ‘The Hive’, a fully accessible pavilion for the use of children and adults with special needs and / or disabilities.

We were very happy to support this important initiative - just one of a number of volunteering and fundraising efforts we have carried out at Foreland Fields, including running regular fundraising raffles and donating surplus materials from our sites for re-purpose and use around the School.
