Supporting Canterbury College During National Apprenticeship Week

Earlier this week, we were delighted to support Canterbury College at East Kent College Group during National Apprenticeship Week, as part of a series of events focused on careers and apprenticeship opportunities.

As proud partners of EKCG, Angela Gardiner, HR Manager and our Social Value Champion, was invited to lead a key discussion with students, sharing insight into career pathways, apprenticeships and what employers are really looking for. Angela was joined by Karen Wheeler, Business Development Manager for EKCG.

With a strong emphasis on supporting students and helping them become work ready, our Work Ready Programme was the perfect fit for the day. Discussions provided useful insight into CV writing, covering letters, interview techniques, tailoring applications and key employability skills – all aimed at boosting confidence and helping students think about and prepare for their next steps into employment or apprenticeships.

It was great to engage with so many motivated students and support them on their journey into the world of work.
