Supporting EKC's first-ever Youth Leadership Summit

As partners to EKC Group, we were delighted to support EKC Broadstairs College’s first-ever Youth Leadership Summit, held on 18th November 2025, an inspiring event designed to bring students, local businesses, and educators together to discuss skills, career opportunities, and the transition into the workplace.

Attending on the day provided an excellent opportunity for us to engage directly with students about possible career routes not only within the construction industry but across a wide range of sectors, based on individual studies and personal passions. It also enabled us to share ideas and practical tips to support them as they move forward in their career journeys.

The concept for the event came from the students themselves, who planned and delivered an excellent day featuring seminars, workshops, and team building exercises that explored how employers can best support young people as they progress towards employment.

A huge thank you to Broadstairs College / EKC Group and all of the students involved for hosting the summit and for continuing to create meaningful opportunities for engagement between students and local employers.
