Supporting the community at QEQM Hospital
Earlier this year, following the successful refurbishment of the Emergency Department entrance at QEQM Hospital, Margate, our team adopted a small, landscaped area next to the main entrance as part of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust’s (EKHUFT) Planting for Health initiative.
With the change in season, our WW Martin Community Volunteer Team recently returned to help freshen up this space once again. Our volunteers spent the afternoon de-weeding, watering and tidying the raised planters located alongside the entrance pathway to ensure they remain a welcoming and well-kept feature for patients, staff and visitors throughout the autumn months.
By continuing to support EKHUFT’s Planting for Health initiative, we are proud to contribute to the Trust’s vision for greener, healthier hospital environments that promote wellbeing for everyone who uses them.
A big thank you to our team for their continued enthusiasm and to EKHUFT and 2gether Support Solutions for welcoming us back. We look forward to continuing our positive involvement with QEQM Hospital.
