Teynham Primary School named as finalist in Construction Project of the Year

We are delighted to announce that our Teynham Parochial Church of England Primary School project has been named a Finalist for Construction Project of the Year 2025 at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards

Delivered on behalf of Kent County Council, this redevelopment has created a modern, inspiring learning environment for 420 pupils and 30 pre-school children – and is the first KCC school to achieve net zero operational carbon.

Throughout the project, our team worked collaboratively with KCC, Bailey Partnership, Woodley Coles, and our Kent-based supply chain to deliver a sustainable, high-quality facility that will benefit the community for generations to come.

A key focus was on local employment and skills development, creating apprenticeships, work experience placements, and training opportunities through our Employment Apprenticeship Training Programme. This ensured the project not only delivered an outstanding new school but also supported the next generation of construction professionals across Kent.

From pupil-led design workshops to hands-on sustainability and STEAM sessions, the project demonstrates how collaboration can create a genuine legacy - environmentally, educationally, and socially.
