The Chantry Academy, Gravesend is progressing well on site

Good progress is being made on site to deliver the Chantry Academy - a new 2 Form Entry Primary School in Gravesend.

As shown to the rear of this photo, the provision of the temporary school buildings are now complete and in full use by the staff and children on site. This has subsequently allowed us to press on with the early stages of the construction works to provide the new school.

All asbestos removal works have recently been completed and the demolition of the existing school has been undertaken in earnest. This is enabling us to move forward with excavations and foundations works this month in accordance with our construction programme.
