The Lock, Yalding - Finalist in the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards 2019

Attending the Awards ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, we were very pleased to be recognised as Finalists in the Construction Project of the Year category at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards 2019 for our project, The Lock, Yalding.

This excellent project is an exciting new development of 16 houses delivered by WW Martin for TG Designer Homes in a unique location in the heart of Yalding, Kent.

The development consists of 14 semi-detached and 2 detached houses alongside sensitively landscaped common land, helping to promote and encourage natural habitats and wildlife, whilst providing beautifully landscaped grounds adjacent to Hampstead Marina and Lock, which is recognised as one of the prettiest non-tidal marinas in Southern England.

The success of the project is testament to the close working relationship between WW Martin and TG Designer Homes.Located in a Flood Zone 3 area (the highest flood risk level) and on derelict and contaminated land, the site has been redeveloped through careful design and planning, plus complex construction solutions to provide these stunning new homes.
