The Structural Steel frame at 'The Great Hall' is now Complete

The Great Hall at Kent College is making great progress with the ground works to Grid 1 now completed.

With the drainage under the footprint of the building installed and the structural steel frame now complete, the brick and block work has now commenced.

Our works at Kent College, Canterbury is for the construction of a new performing arts building consisting of an auditorium with retractable seating for the capacity of 300 in theatre mode and 600 in assembly mode.

The project is being delivered on a challenging site in a ‘live’ school environment, where disruption must be kept to a minimum. Our team has worked hard to overcome this challenge through constant communication and liaison with the college.

The new building, will provide a facility for the whole school at Kent College Canterbury to gather as one community for a variety of purposes, such as assemblies, worship, drama and musical performances.
