The WW Martin Volunteer Team is helping to improve the local environment in Thanet
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and improving the environment, our Volunteering Team has recently carried out a series of litter picks around our active construction sites across Thanet.
In recent weeks, we have focused on the areas surrounding Tomlin Drive, Dane Valley Arms, and Staner Court, and we will be carrying out a further clean-up at Clements Road later this month. All four sites form part of our work on behalf of Thanet District Council to deliver 49 new affordable homes.
These clean-up activities may be small steps, but they make a visible difference to the local environment and community, with our efforts focused on the areas around our sites to help keep them clean, tidy, and free from litter.
This initiative is one of many ways we aim to deliver social value alongside our construction work, and we look forward to continuing to support the local community in practical ways as our projects progress over the coming months.
