Welcoming Finley for a week of work experience

We were pleased to welcome Finley from Dane Court Grammar School in Broadstairs to WW Martin for a week within our Accounts and Finance Department, as our most recent placement provided through our Employment Apprenticeship Training Programme (EATP).

During his time with us, he worked closely with Jack, our Purchase Ledger Clerk, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of our finance team. As a Year 12 student studying the IBCP (International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme), which combines academic subjects with career-focused learning and practical experience to develop employability skills. Finley, who takes Business, Maths, Anthropology and Environmental Systems, has a clear interest in pursuing a career in finance.

It was encouraging to see his enthusiasm and willingness to learn throughout the week, and we wish him every success as he continues his studies and looks ahead to receiving his results next year.
