Project Progress - Works on site for Age UK, Herne Bay are helping to support Kent Business

Our works for Age UK, Herne Bay are progressing well with the complex roof works to the new two-storey extension being constructed and managed by our own directly employed carpenters.

As a long-standing Kent based construction company, we have established a strong supply chain of locally based subcontractors and material suppliers, many of whom we have worked with for a number of years. On this project alone, 95% of our partners are Kent based businesses.

The design for the exciting two-storey timber and zinc clad extension has been developed by Canterbury based Architects Clague, with the new extension providing extra Day Care facilities and Offices which will incorporate large windows and central light-wells giving the space a fresh and airy feel.

When complete, the scheme will be vital to Age UK in helping to support the increasing needs of local older people in Herne Bay and Whitstable. The much needed new space will be made available for rent to local charities and community groups, the revenue from which will contribute to the running of the Charity.
