Announcing East Kent Hospitals Charity as a Charity Partner for 2026

We are pleased to announce East Kent Hospitals Charity as one of our Charity Partners for 2026.

Through our extensive work with 2gether Support Solutions and East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, this partnership is one that resonates strongly with us. Working within live healthcare environments gives a clear understanding of the pressures faced by patients, families, and clinical teams, and reinforces the value of charitable funding in supporting care and wellbeing alongside day-to-day clinical services.

During 2026, our fundraising activity with East Kent Hospitals Charity will be directed towards dementia related initiatives across the hospital, reflecting an area where we have chosen to focus our support this year.

East Kent Hospitals Charity supports a wide range of initiatives that benefit patients, families, and staff across the Trust. This includes supporting those affected by dementia by funding specialised projects, activity resources, and engaging therapies that help to improve hospital stays. Dementia is a condition that affects hearts and minds alike, not only those living with it, but also loved ones and the professionals who support them, particularly within unfamiliar and often challenging hospital settings.

This partnership builds on our work with the Charity in 2024, when we were proud to support fundraising initiatives for the Special Care Baby Unit. We look forward to sharing a separate update following a forthcoming visit to see the impact of those funds.

We look forward to working closely with East Kent Hospitals Charity throughout 2026 to help raise funds and awareness for this important cause.

Reflecting on the renewed partnership for 2026, Ms Dee Neligan, Head of Charity at East Kent Hospitals Charity, said:

“We have been supported by WW Martin for a several years as their charity of the year and we are delighted to be their charity partners again. Previously, their fundraising has made a real difference to our hospitals, and we look forward to working closely with them again, enabling meaningful projects for patients living with dementia.”
