WW Martin appointed to the KCC Property Construction Partnership Framework
We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as a construction partner by Kent County Council (KCC) on their £500million ‘Property Construction Partnership Framework’.
This new KCC Framework will enable the procurement and delivery of significant Property Infrastructure including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, and alterations to KCC’s estate. A significant proportion of the work will focus on education projects; however any type of building work to any property including housing, and associated construction services are included.
We will operate as 1 of 4no. construction companies appointed to deliver KCC’s programme of works, which is expected to total circa £500million of investment in the County over the next 4 years, which is the minimum period of the Framework.
Officially launched today by KCC, we recognise that our appointment provides us with a significant opportunity to create and provide opportunities for local people and businesses in Kent. This is something that we wholeheartedly commit to and are proud to do as a Kent based main contractor with a history in construction that stretches back over 145 years in Kent.
WW Martin, Mike Darling, Director said:
“We have a proven track record of working with KCC and we very much look forward to continuing our partnership, building on the number of successful projects we have completed together in recent years.”
“We also look forward to working collaboratively with the other appointed partners, to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions to projects and industry challenges; as we drive value for money and deliver high-quality award-winning projects for KCC.”
